Remote Control – Blu-ray w/Slipcover – 88 Films

Description

Video store clerk Cosmo (Kevin Dillon) discovers an alien plot to take over Earth by embedding their signal inside a fake 1950s B-movie called Remote Control. Anyone who watches it appears in the film and turns into a mind-controlled killer. After narrowly escaping the brainwashing effect themselves, Cosmo and his eccentric boss, Georgie (Christopher Wynne), become murder suspects when a neighbour spots them near a crime scene. With Cosmo’s dream girl, Belinda (Deborah Goodrich), in tow, can they discover the origin of the lethal cassette before its deadly global release?

Helmed by acclaimed cult-horror maestro Jeff Lieberman, this smart, stylishly campy masterpiece of late-’80s nostalgia is the perfect time capsule for the VHS era. Released on Blu-ray in the UK for the very first time!
